Solution Features

The Guardian in brief

Icon Superior

The Guardian has several features based on information collected and as each type of device. The main dashboard has many of the features that are offered for each type of device.

Through the main screen by clicking the icon from the top of each device, you can view these resources. Recalling that the Guardian Cloud is in constant development and evolution, always seeking to offer resources to facilitate the visualization of information.

Common features

However some features are common to the devices, among them we have the change feature of description the device as wll as setting option tag and the option of Device Removal.

Recalling that the resource tag definition It is a dynamic resource that facilitates the visualization and emphasis of information.

You can also view similar tabs with different options for all devices, such as: Configuration, alerts and Alerts List.

Common resources towards Alerts

The system allows you to create alerts based on information being collected and the history of changes of devices.

With each new change / collection system analyzes the information and then performs the decision-making of what is to be enforced in case of non-compliance with the registration of the alert.

You can apply limitations on the user's level of restriction.

The system has types of alerts to the collection devices, which can be:

  • Notification E-mail - Send an alert by email when the system is out of compliance.
  • Notification SMS - Send an SMS alert when the system is out of compliance.
  • Notification Both (E-mail / SMS) - Send an alert by email and SMS when the system is out of compliance ..
  • Turn Actuator - Enables an actuator, that is, you can connect another device.
  • Disable Actuator - Disables an actuator, that is, you can disconnect any other device.

In the case of alerts by e-mail / SMS alert registration requires the notification message that should be sent. If selecting the option to enable / disable an actuator, the system will display a list of registered actuators in the system.

Condition Alert

Another important point is that the system generates a text which contextualizes as is getting the warning, intending to make the warning something "textual" to understand.

Collecting device

Collection of devices features

Modal Resources

Collection devices have the tabs:

  • Calculated: It is possible from a collected information, apply calculations and allow display values with different format than collected.
  • Collection: Allow display the collected data in tabular form, with navigation feature.
  • Reports and graphs: Allow reporting and pre-defined graphics.
  • Alerts: Based on the information collected, you can generate alerts in different formats and types, and is possible to register different types of alerts.
  • Alerts List: List of registered and linked to the device alerts.

Specific page of the Collection Devices

Specific page

Through the side menu, you can view and monitor the information being collected. In the case of the collection device, by clicking the option: Collecting device (x), you can list all collection devices attached to the project.

In this screen will be listed:

  • Collection of data (with monitoring by collecting).
  • Device Description.
  • The latest collection (with monitoring by collecting).
  • Alerts on record. -The latest collected Graph (with follow-up collection).

Calculated Field

Calculated Field

This part of the collection device feature, you can create calculated fields, based on the information collected. Will be allowed to use the four basic operations (sum, subtract, multiply and divide), the calculation can be done on any reference number, or applied to other data collected. At the end it can be hidden the data collection source, ie it will only presented the calculated value.

Collecting Graphics

Example Graph Date / Time

The system allows the generation of two types of graphs:

  • Monitoring in Real Time: The accompanying chart in real time is very similar to that existing in specific page. The system will present the latest collected, and will be updated automatically if a new data collection.
  • The accompanying chart Date / Time: The accompanying Graph by date / time displays all the information already collected, and allows the user to perform the focus on the desired information, and specify the time limit.

Collecting reports

Example Report

In both reports there is something in common. It is allowed to choose which format the information should be considered and may be:

  • First Time Collection: It will be printed on screen only the first gathering held at the time the data was collected.
  • Average Period: The first collection time will be printed, the latest collection and the median time at which the data was collected.

The system allows the generation of reports two types:

  • Control report for month: The month, the time of collected, and the collection format in this report will be requested. Then prints the days and hours selected, and the selected type of collection.
  • Control Daily Report: In this report prompted the day and the collection format. Next will be printed every hour of the day selected, and the selected type of collection.

Collection Alerts

Registration Alert screen

In this part we will deal with what is specific alerts regarding the collection of information. In this case, condition changes to this feature.

We have the following list of conditions, which may generate alerts:

  • No communication(time x): If the device fails to send data collection to the server, time X.
  • Amount of (x e y): If the value becomes larger than, and less than X and Y.
  • Value greater than (x): If the value becomes greater than X.
  • Value less than (x): If the value is smaller than X.

It is also possible deny the condition, the conditions for working with reference values, for example, you can create a condition that tests whether the humidity is between 10 and 30, and registering an alert that validates that the humidity is NOT between 10 end 30 .

That same registration if the option is selected No communication(time x), It will display the following options:

  • 5 minutes.
  • 10 minutes.
  • 15 minutes.
  • 20 minutes.
  • 30 minutes.

And in the case of the condition of values between major and minor that will be presented the list of fields already obtained for the collection device, to be used as test condition.

Trigger

Resources Triggers

Modal Resources

The triggers have the tabs:

  • Event Log: Allow display the device change log, as well as the source of change data.
  • Alerts: Based on changes to the device can generate alerts.
  • Alerts List: List of registered and linked to the device alerts.

Specific page of Triggers

Specific page

Through the side menu, you can view and monitor the information being changed. In the case of trigger, by clicking the option: Trigger (x), you can list all triggers attached to the project.

In this screen will be listed:

  • Device Current status (with monitoring for changes). -Device Description.
  • The latest amendments (with monitoring for changes).
  • History of changes.
  • Change History graph (with monitoring for changes).

Trigger Alerts

Registration Alert screen

In this part we will deal with what is specific alerts regarding the trigger. In this case, condition changes to this feature.

We have the following list of conditions, which may generate alerts:

  • No communication (time x): If the device fails to check the status, time X.
  • When changing the state: When the device status is changed to active / inactive trigger the alert.
  • When the status changes (x) occurrences: When the trigger is changed after X times in Y period of time the system will generate the alert.

That same registration if the option is selected no communications(time x), It will display the following options:

  • 5 minutes.
  • 10 minutes.
  • 15 minutes.
  • 20 minutes.
  • 30 minutes.

Triggers

Resources Actuators

Modal Resources

The actuators have the tabs:

  • Event Log: Allow display the device change log, as well as the source of change data.
  • Alerts: Based on the changes made by the device can generate alerts and even Indicate When the device is to change the state.
  • Alerts List: List of registered and linked to the device alerts.

Specific page Actuators

Specific page

Through the side menu, you can view and monitor the information being changed. In the case of the actuator, by clicking the option: actuators (x), You can list all the actuators attached to the project.

In this screen will be listed:

  • Device Current status (with monitoring for changes).
  • Device Description.
  • The latest amendments (with monitoring for changes).
  • History of changes.
  • Change History graph (with monitoring for changes).

Actuator Alerts

Registration Alert screen

In this part we will deal with what is specific alerts in relation to the actuator. In this case, condition changes to this feature.

We have the following list of conditions, which may generate alerts:

  • No communications(time x): If the device fails to check the status, time X.
  • As changing the state: When the device status is changed to active / inactive trigger the alert.
  • When the status changes (x) occurrences: When the trigger is changed after X times in Y period of time the system will generate the alert.
  • At times (x) change the state: You can order the device to become active / inactive at specific times, for example, turn on a lamp on time of 19h to 22hrs.

That same registration if the option is selected no communications (time x), It will display the following options:

  • 5 minutes.
  • 10 minutes.
  • 15 minutes.
  • 20 minutes.
  • 30 minutes.
