Remember that each device has a unique serial number, containing the design prefix and the limit of creating devices will be depending on the chosen plan.

Creating Collection Device

After creating the project, through the dashboard, you can request the creation of a new collection device. When requesting the device creation, the system will generate the serial number.

When creating a new device, you need to perform a first collection for the system to "understand" what data is being collected and then enable other features, such as creating:

  • Calculated field: Field that can be used to treat display values.
  • Visualization of data collection: View collected data in tabular form.
  • Graph / Reports: Thaving access generation graphic in real time, and report generation.
  • Creating Alerts: It enables the system to work with the creation / generation of several alerts.

Creating Triggers

Again, through the dashboard you can create triggers. Among the useful information that is presented in the first trigger communication with the Cloud Guardian, include:

  • Last Contact: Last date / time that the device performed the communication, that is, what state is.
  • Last Modified: Date / time when the state was required change.
  • Disable button: You can order through the dashboard to change the state, that is, request that the alert is discarded.

After creation, you can also see:

  • Event Log: List the device event history.
  • Creating Alerts: It enables the system to work with the creation / generation of several alerts.

Creating Actuators

And with the dashboard you can create the actuators. Among the useful information that is presented in the first actuator communication with the Cloud Guardian, include:

  • Last Contact: Last date / time at which the held communication device, namely that the system 'asked' state where it should be found.
  • Last Modified: Date / time when the state has changed.

Defining Tags

After the creation of the devices, you can define a group of Tags with intent to perform a filter on the viewing devices. These Tags are created dynamically, being allowed to create any word that facilitates the grouping of devices for the same purpose or the same location.

When you click the Tags panel in the main dashboard, the system will show the devices that are marked with these values.
